Turnpan is a free place to play classic board games in your browser. Open it, pick a game and play. Guests can start right away; log in when you want ratings.

Games

• Gomoku: place stones on a 15x15 board and be first to make five in a row.
• Backgammon: race your checkers home, use the doubling cube, play single games or 3, 5 or 10 point matches.
• Yacht: roll five dice, fill your scorecard, beat your opponent. Three rulesets: Yacht, Yatzy and Classic 13.
• Checkers: American checkers on an 8x8 board, with 3+2 and 5+5 clocks and bots at five levels.
• Rolltop: a new daily dice-rolling logic puzzle. Roll the die through every square once.

Play against real people (quick pairing, lobby, or invite a friend) or against bots. Watch other games live, check the leaderboards, and study finished games with the analysis tools.

Fair dice you can verify. Before each Backgammon or Yacht game the server publishes a hash of a secret seed. After the game it reveals the seed, and a checker built into the page recomputes every roll.
